Durable™ Snap Fasteners, also known as DOT® press studs, are highly versatile and widely used across industries such as military and sportswear, tents, luggage, automotive and marine. Their strength lies in a tight wire ring spring inside the socket, which expands and contracts around the stud with a distinct snap when connected or removed.
Designed for long-term, repeated use, these snap fasteners maintain their performance over time. When used with lighter fabrics, they are self-piercing. For heavier materials like leather or heavy-duty fabrics, a suitable piercing tool is required. For best results, we recommend using a specialist Attachment Tool for Press Studs.
